Climate-lab is a multidisciplinary laboratory supporting the analysis, and modeling of climate and global climate change GCC. Mission of Climate-lab is the building of a knowledge base on the present and potential future climate worldwide under global warming, with focus upon <\/p>\n
i) description of the state of the atmosphere and fallout upon hydrosphere, ecosphere, natural resources, and natural, weather driven hazards.
\nii) the definition of boundary conditions for adaptation strategies in energy planning, planning, design, and management of buildings, and urban environment<\/p>\n
Specific aims cover interdisciplinary research in topics such as<\/p>\n
1) Gathering of a large array of climate change projections
\n2) Creation of a common climate data base for multidisciplinary use.
\n3) Coordinated measurement of atmospheric vairables subject to change, and impacting on human and natural environment
\n4) Networking of the observational tools available at Politecnico and extension of such network
\n5) Development of survey methodology for urban scale meteorological analysis.
